LA SAVIA folkloric group adopted their name, meaning “plant or tree sap”, as a reflection of their aim to revitalize old, forgotten folkloric songs by bringing them new life through their performances. This young group are faithful representatives of folk music, and stick to traditional interpretation in the arrangements. Their original and particular sound is striking, and has brought them steady success through touring and musical releases.
